Summer Holidays

Dear Parents,

Is your child joining us for the holidays? Please find below some practical information to help everything run smoothly.

CLOSING

During the summer months, a sun hat and sunscreen are essential. We also recommend that children bring a swimsuit, a towel, and a spare set of clothes, as we may organize water play activities depending on the weather. 

Toys and personal Belongings

Children are welcome to bring a comfort item, a book, or a small toy that encourages cooperative play. However, we do not recommend bringing valuable, expensive, or fragile items to SFO, as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

We encourage children to enjoy the toys, games, and materials available at SFO and to share play experiences with their friends.Please label all personal belongings with your child's name.

LUNCH

The canteen will be closed for both weeks. Please provide a ready-to-eat lunch box each day, including all necessary cutlery. Kindly avoid instant soups or meals that require a microwave.

opening hours

We are open from 07:20 to 17:00. Children may be dropped off and picked up at any time during opening hours. However, we recommend arriving before 09:15 so that children can take part in the morning meeting and hear about the day's activities and outings.

cloakroom organization

We will not be using the lockers on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Instead, children can leave their belongings on the 1st floor (rooms 110 and 105). Please help your child keep their space tidy and make sure they take all their belongings home.

outings

We organize outings regularly, depending on the number of children attending. Some weeks may have outings, while others may not.

Children are informed about outings at the beginning of the week and can sign up. Only SFO staff can register children.

We usually return by 15:30. You can check your child's participation in EasyKom. To allow children to take part in activities, we recommend staying at SFO until 15:30 whenever possible.
