What is SFO/KLUB?
SFO/KLUB is our after-school program where children can learn, play, and grow in a safe and friendly place. Through play-based learning, creativity, and time with others, children make friends and feel included. We offer activities tailored to each child’s interests and stage of development. The program is offered as SFO for CP, CE1, and CE2, and as Klub for CM1 and CM2.

Adrian
Coordinator / SFO-Klub
Adrian graduated from the École de Danse de l’Opéra de Paris and the École Hôtelière de Copenhague. After a career as a ballet dancer, he shifted towards hospitality and event management, where he worked as a manager and event organizer. This unique journey, at the crossroads of art and management, has fostered his appreciation for detail, creativity, and teamwork. Today, he applies this experience at SFO/KLUB, coordinating teams and activities with the aim of providing children with a framework that is both structured, vibrant, and inspiring. He enjoys creating environments where everyone can express themselves, discover, and develop their sense of autonomy and community. A father of three children, Adrian speaks fluent French, Danish, and English, which facilitates communication with families and enriches the multicultural dimension of LFPH.

Alexandre
Educator assistant / SFO
Alexandre is 38 years old. He has two children, aged 3 and 5. He has lived in Copenhagen for one year. Education is very important to Alexandre. He worked 4 years as an international DJ. Then he got a diploma to teach DJ and computer music at DJ Art School in Bordeaux. He also trained DJs and sound technicians for Club Med for more than 5 years. Alexandre is very athletic. He got a diploma to coach children in competitive cycling. Working at the Lycée Français is a new challenge for Alexandre. He wants to use all his skills to give the children at the SFO a great experience.

Florine
Educator / SFO
Until the age of 15, Florine spent every summer at summer camps and day camps. In 2019, she began working towards her BAFA, and it was through gaining professional experience that she realized her desire to work with children. After obtaining her Master’s degree in MEEF (Primary Education), she decided to move to Sweden with her partner and start this new chapter of her life by working with children at this school a few months later. Sports games, large group games, and creative activities shaped her childhood and are now the activities she most enjoys sharing with children.

Gwenaëlle
Educator / Klub
Gwenaëlle has been a trained special educator since 2018. She worked for several years in child protection in France. She wanted to see the world, so she traveled alone for several months in different countries. She joined the SFO team in February 2025. Gwenaëlle cares about children’s well-being. She wants to give them a safe, kind, and interesting place where they can grow and be happy every day. She is curious and loves Danish teaching methods. She likes using them when she works with children. Gwenaëlle also enjoys dancing, being creative, and doing activities in nature. These things are important in her daily life and in her work with children.

Jehan
Educator assistant / Klub
Jehan has been an educator at the SFO for 18 years and is a father of three young adults. He takes care especially of the Klub. His activities focus on fun and humor through board games, strategy games, role-playing games, big group games, and also outings in nature, at the sea, and at the swimming pool. While encouraging children’s curiosity and interest, the most important thing in these activities is everyone’s participation and cooperation, in a positive spirit of respect, tolerance, empathy, and courage, to build the children’s self-confidence. His motto: "Everything you give, you keep. Everything you keep, you lose." – Dostoevsky.

Julie
Educator assistant / SFO
Julie sees herself as a weaver, always striving to create connections, weaving ties between people, stories, and knowledge. Growing up on the border of Flanders and Wallonia in Belgium, Julie has been shaped by a rich blend of languages: English, Dutch, French, and now also Danish, each adding a thread to her personal and professional tapestry. With a background in fine arts, textiles, and education, Julie has had the privilege of working as an artist in schools in Brussels, as well as designing knitwear for fashion brands. Today, Julie combines her passions for textiles and education, working at the SFO, where she manages the textile and couture atelier, nurturing creativity and craftsmanship.Contact:

Kelly
Educator assistant / SFO
Kelly has a degree in translation and experience in teaching languages to children through her passion for art. She loves spending time with the kids at the SFO. For her, it is very important to take part in their games, and she enjoys seeing them express themselves through different forms of art. In addition, the children know they can always come to Kelly for help or to talk about anything on their minds.

Educator assistant / SFO
I moved to Denmark this summer to join my partner, who was transferred to Copenhagen. I am a trained psychologist and have been certified for three years. As the eldest of four siblings, I have always been involved in caring for younger children, which helped me develop a strong understanding of their needs. During my studies, I completed several internships working with children: first in an elementary school, and later in a facility for children with disabilities. These experiences strengthened my desire to support young people and contribute to their well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I am also passionate about music and dance. -

Mariana
Educator / Klub
Mariana is dedicated to education because she truly loves teaching and building meaningful connections. Her journey began as a teenager volunteering with social NGOs to support children and families in need. Over time, it grew into a career shaped by a master’s degree in Education and more than 15 years with an international NGO. That work has taken her around the world, creating and adapting programs in after-school and club settings where children can explore, connect, and grow. What inspires Mariana most is building spaces where kids feel happy, safe, and free to discover their potential. She loves organizing events, bringing structure and creativity together, and designing activities that spark curiosity and joy.

Marine
Vikar / Klub
Marine is a former music teacher with a big passion for the arts and for working with young people. She is studying for a Bachelor’s degree in French with a minor in English. She also plays the saxophone in different bands and orchestras. She likes swimming regularly because it gives her energy and balance. At school, Marine is excited to share her interests with the children. She helps with activities like band, homework, and swimming (with her colleague Jehan). Marine studied at LFPH herself, so she feels a special connection with the students. She understands them well and can talk to them in the language they like. This helps the children feel supported and inspired. -

Mariem
Educator assistant / SFO
Mariem got her diploma as an executive secretary and worked for six years at the French company Daniel Lefebvre in Morocco. At the same time, she took part in several charity associations that supported orphan children in their daily lives. These experiences gave her a strong passion for helping children, both in school and in their personal growth. In 2005, she joined LFPH, first as a nursery assistant, then in 2007 as an educator at the SFO. Mariem enjoys following the children from primary school until high school, watching their progress and keeping, when possible, a friendly connection with them. This continuity and these exchanges are a great source of joy and motivation for her.Contact:

Ricardo
Educator assistant / SFO
Ricardo is from Mexico and lives in Denmark now. He has a Bachelor’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and a Master’s in Languages and Technology. He has worked with children mainly by teaching languages, and more recently in the kindergarten at LFPH. Ricardo likes helping children be curious and creative. He also likes helping them feel safe and confident. He enjoys doing activities like baking bread with the children, he has done this already in kindergarten. Outside school, Ricardo likes spending time with his family, running, and playing the guitar.

Romain
Educator / SFO
Romain is an educator, workshop facilitator and video maker with more than 10 years of experience in France, Canada, Denmark, Moldova and Serbia. At Prins Henrik School, Romain works as a pædagog and supports the children every day. Romain enjoys exploring new artistic ideas to make learning more interesting. Romain designs fun workshops with film, sound and art. These workshops help the children learn, express themselves and work together. He also works with companies and other schools to bring creative workshops and experiences to many groups. Romain is also the proud father of a young son.

Yann
Educator assistant / SFO
Yann is part of the SFO of Prins Henrik for 11 years. He leads different creative and construction workshops in the school. The works created are often tested during group outings in school holidays. Yann adapts his workshops to the different age groups who participate. For example, a workshop on learning how to use tools and cutting and gluing materials is offered to younger children or to those who are new to the activity before using the tools. Yann has a Master’s degree from École Camondo CESAIPE in Interior Design and Environmental Design. He continues to work as a freelance designer.

History of the SFO at Lycée Français Prins Henrik:
The SFO (Skole Fritids Ordning) at Lycée Français Prins Henrik is an after-school program for children aged 6 to 9. It was established in 1994 to meet the needs of parents who wanted to provide their children with a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable space after school hours. Over the years, the SFO has become an essential part of the school, offering children an environment that supports their overall development and personal growth.

Description of Our Target Group – Children Aged 6 to 9:
Our target group consists of children aged 6 to 9 attending Lycée Français Prins Henrik. This is a crucial stage in their development, where they acquire new cognitive, social, emotional, linguistic, and motor skills. They are curious, energetic, and eager to explore the world around them.
We recognize the importance of providing a stimulating and safe environment that fosters their growth. Our program is designed to meet their specific needs, offering a variety of activities that encourage learning, creativity, friendship, and the development of social and civic skills.
We strive to create a sense of belonging and build positive relationships with each child. We encourage individual and cultural expression and promote self-esteem by recognizing their talents and achievements.
Summary:
In short, our SFO service project at Lycée Français Prins Henrik aims to provide an inclusive, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 to 9. We are committed to offering a space where they can grow, learn, and thrive in a balanced way, cognitively, socially, and emotionally.

We are open from 7.20 a.m. to 5 p.m. during school terms and the school holidays. The SFO/KLUB is closed for six weeks a year.

To cancel your registration, you must provide a full one-month notice. This means that payment is required for the month in which the notice is given, as well as for the following month.
